I don't do sci fi much either, love war/westerns/drama/comedy/action/

Horror now and then but nothing too gorey

Love some classic older ones too like Giant/Rebel without a cause/Casablanca too.

Love John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart

Really liked inglorious bastards!

space movies are bloody stupid, i like a good war movies, or westerns, or mafia type ones, or a good courtroom drama....or historical epics.

I just watched Alex Cross. Totally different to the book it was based from.

He lives in Detroit (not DC), his partner is a white guy he went to school with in Detroit (not his huge black friend from DC), his kids are oldish and his wife, Maria, is pregnant.

I don't know why they changed the core basics and I really can't see the point, especially since this is the third AC movie. Anyway, it was ok.

Went to the pictures while when we went away. Watched The Impossible with Naomi Watts..

Really enjoyed it...Based on a true story from the 2004 tsunami... Worth the watch.

Hard to find a good movie lately.

The Battle Of Britain is worth watching.....

I watched "Sky Fall" Last weekend. Very predictable and rather implausible..

But Sarah and the kids enjoyed it

People can't choose who they fall in or out of love with. Just because you like her looks doesn't mean she and Brad (or anyone else) were suited long term

He wanted kids. She didn't. He has lots now and she has none. Either way we only know what we read

Nah Sean Penn has anger management issues and
not a fan of Brad Pitt, he has clearly rocks for brains leaving jennifer aniston.

Movie Reviews

Post  Rumi on Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:33 pm

The Tree of Life starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn. I lasted 28 minutes and not sure how I even lasted that long. I am not into impressionistic movies and the first half hour was almost all spacey impressionistic shots of lava, waves, more lava, planets and more lava. WTF?

Casting Brad as Sean's father wasn't exactly a good move either. Sean Penn not only looks older than Brad, he IS older than Brad. Anyone else seen this?

A big thumbs down from me!
