Good on you Laser. Cooking is a wonderful life skill to have and can be fun, especially trying out new things.

You could always add the Vegata to the water when you're boiling the rice Feral. Would probably give it a bit more of an intense flavour than the other way.

Swampy is having a pork cutlet tonight and since I don't eat pork it's lamb cutlet for me. We'll have potato bake and something else but I'm not sure what yet!

My turn to cook

theres some porterhouse in the fridge, so that with some salad and will make up some rice too,

I just boil some up, set it aside, then fry up some onion add some sesame oil, toss the rice back in, stir it well thru add a bit more oil but not too much, and then sprinkle some Vegata thru it, gives it some flavour

Yummo Boots! I must do another silverside soon.

Tonight we're taking my mother out for dinner to the tavern, so I'll probably get a steak with chips and salad, but maybe something else on the menu might tempt me.

I might have to try that sometime Boots. So you just roast it and then put it in the pot with the onions and stock and cook as per usual?

We are having Chinese take-away for dinner tonight. Will grab that on the way home along with a movie and spend the evening relaxing on the couch with the Swamp thing.
