I started watching Boardwalk Empire but have only seen 2 or 3 thus far.

I am nearing the end of the first season of Deadwood and I am definitely not precious or a prude but the swearing in one particular episode almost did my head in.   I turned it off and went to bed lol.

Apparently there was a lot of controversy about the swearing and it seems to be known as having the most unnecessary swearing than any show ever made.

I am battling through it.   Not enough Timothy Olyphant and too much Ian McShane.  Like I said, I don't mind swearing but when McShane can't say 8 words without 5 of them being F, C, MF and CS I wonder how far I can go with it.

The minority of Labor Voters are and have proven themselves to be deadwood on society.

We are fortunate the Australian Public have proven them as such and have got rid of the minority.

I loved mind yr language/land of the giants as a kid.

Watching them recently, they didn't seem as good, maybe I've just grown up and my tastes have matured lol.

Land of the Giants was cool and so was Logan's Run.

got it or you haven't.

I could never warm to billy conelly and the likes for this very reason. Or that foul mouth chef.
No need for it.

Connolly cant make a laugh unless he uses gutter language, i hate the little shit....although he CAN act, in the film where he played john brown, queen victorias groom or whatever he was very good.

I was turned off by his gutter language when he first vied for attention and hence never watched anything with him in it.
I suppose thats what happens. He may have a good acting talent but ruins it for himself by being a dill.

Like that Kramer dude. He was doing stand up and had to put down Black people in their presence and everyone basically walked out
on him. Just a Tool. The papers covered him a Tool world wide.

actually-bought one of the childrens series I had watched called 'Mortified'

the ironic humour in that is so good...and its Australian.

Actually -not humerous but a recent, wonderfully made, childrens fantasy series called- The Legend of Enyo, was brilliant-am hoping I can get a copy of it, at some stage- the animation and imagination was incredible.

he good thing about this humor is it shows everyone that you don't need to get filthy to create a great laugh.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
too true steve- loved; I love Lucy- a laugh a minute- some of the really crude shows aren't the least funny-just embarresing.
My humour came from way back when-was always a mad Goons fan-thats where much of those, like the Goodies; got thier original inspiration.
