I analysed this tonight with a mate and yeah it works. I'm not talking ballads or thrash metal just
good old 80's heavy metal

thats why you have to Watch your speedo when driving on the open road with heavy music on loud!

Bruce springsteen and meatloaf are two culprits!

Amazing how the music takes over your accellerator pedal .

Cant compare what you do on the computer tho-waaay out of my league.

But I do know heavy music played loud-keeps you awake-the other sort is likely to make you drift off- no good on the road -or I suspect; in the middle of cutting codes!

Have to concur with you there Daniel...when I was in production screen printing firms we always played heavy metal rock...you printed to the beat and produced more...similar to when the drum beat dictated the oar strokes on the tyrenes....lol. When I did signwriting and needed to concentrate I'd put calm stuff on like Fleetwood Mac or Pink Floyd.

The effects of music while working.

I have found an interesting thing while cutting the code on my new system.

I stream audio on Itunes radio from all over the world when I code.

If I listen to the 80's, 90's it effects my code production but if I listen to Metal
I produce more. Now I believe I have put my finger on this. Some songs make you melancholy
others reminisce and others sad/happy, memories whatever.

All those things engage memories and thought processes chewing up the brains collective
processing cores. Metal on the other hand seems to be just raw energy that pushes one forward I find.

I analysed this tonight with a mate and yeah it works. I'm not talking ballads or thrash metal just
good old 80's heavy metal.

Its interesting how powerful music is. I found myself daydreaming and thinking off topic.
I switched to metal tonight and BAMM heaps of work done.

Noise for thought anyway
