actually honky-about the only thing that works on my stove -is three of the burners on top.otherwise I use my frypan or small toaster oven.

When hubby is home more often-I have been thinking ;that instead of replacing the stove-so the mice can have a brand new play home, having wrecked thier old one; I will get one of the ovens you have recommended. They sound like they will serve my purpose well.

a flavourwave????? yes they are good, when reading the little recipie book remember it is for the american market. food is cold stored for a long time there and not fresh. so back off on the heat and cook a bit longer, especialy the chicken.

pommes cooked in them are to die for!

They are supposed to make great chips. Let me know if you make any. Sonny is hassling me to buy a deep fryer for chips. I threw one out a few years ago that was never used

We keep a open box of bi carb soda in the fridge - it absorbs odours.

When soaking laundry add half a cup or so of vinegar in the bucket

Change chopping boards often they are a breeding ground for germs

have 1 for meats etc and one for vegies and one for breads cakes etc,

Ant spray

2/3 vinegar and 1/3 water. Put in spray bottle and squirt wherever you don't want ants

Oven cleaning

A wet pumice stone will clean a dirty oven faster than any spray on produce. Haven't tried this but intend to buy one

Microwave

Microwave
1 cup water with some baking soda until it boils. Eliminates odours and makes it super easy to wipe stuck on stuff away

Bathroom tiles

Lemon oil stops mildew
