one of the things you do miss in a small country town-not much variety but it has it's advantages too.

They were stacking the shelves with Vietnamese rolls while I was in Coles. They were still hot. So I grabbed a bag ($2 for 6 - amazing) and had a late lunch of Vietnamese rolls with pastrami and tomato

I love Vietnamese rolls. They make great bread products. Not keen on the cakes as they are a bit errrr colourful lol. We used to have a local Vietnamese bakery but it closed down unfortunately

Local markets make a great chicken/whitewine/mushroom one and it's to die for!

Oh man I love pies, but for some reason in the last few years eating anything with pastry seems to give me a bad burning feeling in the throat for a few hours afterwards. Occasionally I do think what the heck and have a sausage roll or pie and then regret it later, but sometimes you just have to have it!!!

On ocassion I do enjoy a curried egg for breakfast..

A hard boiled egg sliced in half on toast with a nice curry rue poured over the top..
